Peter Buniak
Founder
Peter has worked in life sciences for more than 25 years across IT, digital marketing, business operations, and corporate strategy. He has led large organizational change, vision alignment, and strategic leadership work across global enterprises — and he has done the same work at small biotech startups, where the operating system has to be built, not inherited.
His experience spans the life sciences value chain: R&D and clinical operations through commercialization. He is a founder, an operator, and relentless about outcomes. Prior executive roles include SVP & CIO at Kadmon Holdings and COO/CTO at Revalia Bio. He holds an MBA in Strategy & Entrepreneurship from NYU Stern, a B.S. in Information Technology from RIT, and a PMP.
Through Energize, he takes fractional CIO/CTO seats, IT and AI strategy mandates, business transformation work, and advisory board roles. The founding focus — life sciences process transformation and digital product development — now includes AI as an operating capability, used only when it is the pragmatic next step.
